New Basin Port
Port Bazinul Nou (New Basin Port) is the most important Romanian port of river-sea Danube sector. It was build in the second decade of last century.

The port is located in an area of particular strategic importance in terms of both geography and trade: the south-eastern Romania, near the border with Moldova and Ukraine, the Mm 79, in the immediate vicinity of the free zone in Galati. It has a total length of 1,160 m of berths.

The access in the port is made by car/road and industrial railway.

The minimum depth in New Basin Port is 7.5 m.
